A project is an undertaking on which one dedicates one's leisure time. Building things, writing things, tinkering with things. Doing stuff. It could be anything: a math research paper; participation in an Olympiad; or writing a bootloader in Assembly. I consider anything I spend time on to be a project of some scale.

There is a saying among people of IT industry, not just programmers, that after some time of getting started with programming, you need to find something that interests you the most, something that you can focus on, and work on. It could be a couple of things. But generally, people choose one or two.

I try to grow as CTF player, primarly in Binary Exploitation and Reverse Engineering, learn how to write proper OpenGL and Vulkan, and stay active in Competitive Programming (CSES, Codeforces).
